Huge Thanks to Vista Chamber of Commerce

We were honored today to host the first Chamber of Commerce meeting for 2011 at our Vista Headquarters today. We had about 30 guests including the Mayor of Vista and several representatives of the San Diego District Attorney’s office.

Huge thanks goes out to the Chamber and the San Diego DA’s office for putting on a very informative meeting.

As the President of Predator, I highly recommend getting involved at the local level of business functions. It is a great way to discuss and overcome common challenges as a business owner. We are looking forward to future functions with the Chamber.

H1 Winch Release Sale

The Predator H1 Front Winch Bumper is the pinacle of design and function. Our Electric Winch System for you Hummer is rated for 12,000lbs and is constructed from extremely heavy duty, 1/4″ Steel and is formed to a one piece design for unmatched strength. Because it is a one piece formed design, there is no need for all of the excessive Doubler Plates, Brackets and Bolts holding many of the competitors winch bumpers together.

The formed steel bumper design offers not only a much improved and modern/updated look for your Hummer but also retains the factory approach angle which is sometimes lost with other winches. Finally we are able to wrap the bumper slightly around the frame rails giving a much cleaner and finished look your Hummer deserves.

Act fast, we are reserving the first 5 Winches at the sale price of $1895. That is over a $100 savings!

Alpha Repaint

alpha repaint completed

Check out the recent Alpha Paint repaint we did. Our customer just purchased this 2006 Alpha H1 and shipped it directly to us to get a new face lift. The customer was very disappointed with the original color so he opted for a full repaint plus a bunch of other upgrades.

When it was done, the truck was unrecognizable by our customer (and us!). He was amazed at the end result as it showed how much pride we put into his truck. Were sorry to see it go but the line up of other Hummers are growing and we need to start on the next project.

Sneak Peak New H1 Bed Rack

H1 Search and rescue bed rack open

Hear is a sneak peak at our new H1 Search & Rescue Bed Rack! The exciting thing about our new rack is the obvious feature of it opening up to allow full access to the bed of your Hummer. Additionally the rack will lock in place to allow more security.

Additionally, the rack is transformable, meaning you can easily remove the center section to allow full access to the bed of your H1. The transformation is as simple as removing 2 bolts! Once the center section is removed, the side racks can stay in place to allow for storage without having the center rack in place.

The unique mounting structure allows for a floating look on the sides with no ugly exposed mounts and can be used with our Roll Top Bed Cover. Finally each Search And Rescue Bed Rack incorporates a hidden and protected dual hydraulic opening assist that opens up and stays up when loading and removing gear.

The racks are going into production next week and will be available to ship in 2 weeks. Call and reserve yours before you get stuck on the waiting list! 877-733-2867

Predator’s Evil Brother is in town!

The Predator Hummer H1 has an evil brother and he’s visiting from the east coast for a

power upgrade!

The Troy Industries Hummer H1 built by Predator a few years ago just arrived for a Duramax Conversion with the Allison 6-Speed Transmission. Were talking 550hp/1000ft/lbs of torque out of the new LMM.

The new LMM is truly an amazing engine. This new engine spools up much faster then the earlier model LBZ, LLY and LB7 engines, produces more horsepower and torque and is even more efficient then before!

We are very excited to start on Steve’s truck and will post more pictures after we begin the

H1 Hummer HMMWV Brake Solution

Predator Inc. announced today the release of their Hummer H1, HMMWV, GMV, GMVS Big Brake System. The system is designed as a final solution for the under performing brake systems used in the defense industries Up-Armored HMMWV’s commonly used in Afghanistan and Iraq.

The Predator HMMWV Brake System has proven to stop a 14,500lb Up-Armored HMMWV or GMV in approximately 92 feet from 60 mph to 0 mph on hard packed dirt. This is an incredable feat considering the last model year Hummer, a 2006 Alpha H1, with its upgraded brake system and weighing apx. 7,900lbs, stops in 152 feet on asphalt.

Additionally, the braking system showed no signs of heat transfer through the calipers because of a unique 3-Piece piston design which reduces heat transfer.

The kit includes 4 massive 6-Piston Brake Calipers, Massive 2-Piece Rotors, Rear Parking Brakes, Stainless Steel Brake Lines along with the mounting hardware.

Red Cross Hummer H3

HUMMER’s relationship with the American Red Cross extends back to 2005 when the SUV manufacturer first began supplying the agency with donated trucks for use in the disaster-stricken areas affected by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. This relationship has been ongoing ever since, and in 2007, Brad Mellon, a volunteer with the San Diego/Imperial Counties chapter, snapped a stunning photograph of one the ARC’s HUMMER H3s against the harrowing backdrop of a California wildfire.

The stamp, commemorating Red Cross founder Henri Dunant, features artwork by Frenchman P. Pavilland, who saw fit to make the image of the H3 against the raging fire the background of the postage he was commissioned to design. So HUMMER goes out in a blaze of glory, so to speak… in Guinea, at least.
